Online Kids PC

A safe computer for your child,
on the TV you already own.

Online Kids PC turns a smart TV, laptop or tablet into a place where children aged 5 to 16 can play, draw, type, build and code — every game works with the TV remote. You decide how long, and when. There are no adverts and nothing to plug in.

From the sofa, in three steps

  1. Open kidspc.online in your TV's browser — Fire TV, Samsung, LG, or a laptop plugged into the TV.
  2. Sign in with a code we email to your phone. No long password on a remote.
  3. Hand over the remote. Your child picks their face, types four digits, and plays — arrows to move, OK to choose.
This week's challenge

The noisiest thing

Draw the loudest, noisiest thing you can think of — with no sound.

Representing something in a medium that cannot hold it directly.

Do it in PaintA new one every Monday. The same one for every family — nothing here watches your child to decide what to suggest.

Nothing to buy

Most families already own the screen. Online Kids PC runs in the browser your television already has — on Fire TV, Samsung and LG — and on any laptop, tablet or phone. Add a Bluetooth keyboard and the family TV becomes a first computer.

Works with the remote

Arrow keys and OK are enough to choose a profile, enter a PIN and start playing.

Nothing to install

It is a web address. Open it, and add it to the home screen if you like the icon.

Picks up where it left off

Sign in once on the TV. After that a child only ever types four digits.

What your child gets

A small, deliberate catalogue — games that ask for a plan, a memory or a strategy, and activities you would recognise as learning. There is no open app store to wander into.

How it works

Setting up takes about five minutes, once, on any device. Your child never needs to do any of it.

  1. Create your parent account

Your name and email address. A 6-digit code proves the address is yours.

    1. Open kidspc.online and choose the free trial button in the top block.
    2. Enter your name and your email address. That is all we ask.
    3. Type the 6-digit code from the email we send — or press the button in it.
    4. Choose a password if you like. Or skip it, and sign in with an emailed code each time.
  2. Add your child

A first name, their birth month and year, and a four-digit code.

    1. On the household screen, choose "Add a child".
    2. Enter the name they should see, and pick an avatar together.
    3. Give their birth month and year — not the full date. It is only used to pick activities that suit their age.
    4. Set a four-digit code they can remember. They will type it on the remote.
  3. Set the limits

Minutes a day, hours of the day, and which activities they can open.

    1. Open the parent dashboard and choose the child.
    2. Set minutes per day, and a weekly cap if you want one.
    3. Add a time window — an after-school hour on weekdays, longer at the weekend.
    4. Tick the activities they may open. The defaults already suit their age.
  4. Open it on the TV

Sign in once on the television, with a code from your phone. After that they only type four digits.

    1. Open the browser on your TV — Silk on Fire TV, Internet on Samsung, Web Browser on LG — or plug a laptop into the TV.
    2. Go to kidspc.online and choose Parent sign in, then "Email me a code instead". Type the 6 digits from your phone — no long password on a remote.
    3. Add it to the TV's home screen so it opens like an app.
    4. Hand over the remote. Your child picks their face, types their code, and moves with the arrows and OK.
  5. Put things right

Forgotten code, wrong limits, or a session that needs to end now.

    1. Open the parent dashboard and choose the child.
    2. Reset the limits, set a new code, clear the scores, or stop the session — each on its own.
    3. Resetting a forgotten code does not touch anything else they have done.

What you control

Time that actually runs out

Set minutes per day and per week. When the time is gone it is gone — the session ends on its own, so it is the computer saying no rather than you.

Only at the hours you choose

An after-school window on weekdays, a longer one on Sunday. Outside it, the profile simply will not open.

Only the activities you choose

Pick what each child can open. Sensible defaults for their age, and a birthday quietly unlocks the next set.

Put things right in one tap

Reset the limits, set a new PIN, clear the scores or stop a session — each on its own. Fixing a forgotten PIN should never wipe a year of progress.

Grows with them

Each age opens what suits it, and a birthday unlocks the next set without you doing anything. Nothing is ever taken away.

Give a month, get a month

Every household has a link to share. A family who joins on yours starts Lite with 14 free days instead of 7, and once they stay, your next month is on us.

Parents share it, never children. There is no friend list, no profile anyone else can see, and nothing your child can send to anybody.

Create an accountYour link lives in the parent dashboard.

The safest screen in your house

Built so the unsafe things are impossible, not merely switched off. There is no setting anywhere in Online Kids PC that could turn any of these on.

No adverts, ever

Nothing here is paid for by attention, so there is nothing to show your child and nothing to maximise.

No chat, no strangers

Nobody can message your child and your child cannot message anybody. No friend lists, no public profiles.

No open internet

Only the activities you tick. No open web browsing, no app store, no links out to anywhere else.

No camera or microphone

The site is forbidden from even asking for them, by the same browser rule banks use.

Nothing is uploaded

Drawings, stories and code stay on your device. We could not see them if we wanted to.

Time that really ends

When today’s minutes are gone, the session ends on its own — the computer says no, not you.

No tracking

No analytics, no pixels, no third-party scripts. One cookie, only to keep you signed in.

Delete it all, in one tap

Download everything we hold, or erase it, from the parent dashboard. No email, no waiting.

What we keep

  • Your email address and the name you go by
  • Your child's first name, and birth month and year — not the date
  • Minutes used each day, so the limits work
  • Their personal bests, so they have something to beat

What we never keep

  • Anything your child draws, writes or codes — it never leaves your device
  • Photos, voice, location or contacts
  • A profile of what your child likes, to sell or to target
  • Copies of the emails we send, once delivered

Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted within a day, and everything else on a published schedule — read exactly what and when. Built to India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, which is why a child's profile needs a verified parent behind it.

Questions parents ask

Which TVs does it work on?

Any smart TV with a web browser: Fire TV (open Silk), Samsung (open Internet) and LG (open Web Browser). Android and Google TV sets need a browser app from the Play Store first. It also works on a laptop plugged into the TV with an HDMI cable, and on any tablet, phone or computer.

Do I need to buy or install anything?

No. There is no box, stick or app to buy — Online Kids PC is a website, kidspc.online. The TV remote is enough for every game. A cheap Bluetooth keyboard makes the typing and coding activities easier, but it is optional.

How does my child use it with the TV remote?

The arrow buttons move between activities and OK opens one. Your child picks their picture, types their four-digit code with the remote, and plays. Back returns to their home screen. Every game was designed to be played with arrows and OK alone.

How do I sign in on a TV without typing a long password?

Choose "Email me a code instead". We email a 6-digit code to your phone, and you type those six digits on the TV. It works once, for 30 minutes. You only sign in once per TV; after that your child only ever types their four-digit code.

What ages is it for?

5 to 16, in three stages: Explorer (5–8), Builder (9–12), Coder (13–16). Each stage opens the activities that suit it, and a birthday unlocks the next set automatically.

Is it safe for my child?

It is built so the unsafe things are impossible rather than switched off. There are no adverts, no chat, no way to contact or be contacted by anybody, no open web browsing, and no camera or microphone. Your child can only open the activities you tick, only for the minutes and at the hours you set — and when the time is up, the session ends on its own.

What do you store about my child?

A first name, their birth month and year (not the full date), the avatar they picked, a scrambled copy of their four-digit code, minutes used per day, and personal bests. Nothing your child draws, writes or codes ever leaves your device. You can download everything we hold, or delete all of it, from the parent dashboard at any time.

Can I try it without signing up?

Yes. All 19 activities are free to play at kidspc.online/try, with no account and nothing stored on our side.

How much does it cost?

Lite is ₹299 a month for up to 2 children, after 7 free days. Pro is ₹999 a month and adds a real computer streamed to the TV, which is still being built. Nothing is charged yet, and we never ask for a card to start.

Can my child use their own profile today?

Parent accounts and the free preview are open now. A child profile opens once we can verify you are their parent or guardian — India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 requires it, and we would rather say so up front. Until then, every activity is in the free preview.

Set it up once, this evening

Create your account, add your child, choose their minutes. It takes about five minutes, and it is free to set up.

Create a parent account

Parent accounts are open now. A child profile becomes usable once we can verify you are their parent or guardian — the law requires it, and we would rather say so here than after you have signed up.
